Selected Works

Selected Haiku

Forty poems from Volumes I, II, and III of the complete archive.

The complete archive was written between 2001 and 2026. This selection offers a guided path through the work: the war remembered, the boat journey, the monastery, the road home, and the years of quiet attention at the end.

The poems are presented in chronological order, numbered as in the full archive. Read the paired poems together, such as the temple bell in Poem 16 and the temple bell in Poem 166, to witness how the teaching learned to hide inside the image. These poems record a state of mind hidden in the image. The returning images are deliberate.
